(Marine Corp, Army National Guard)
Biblical Counselor
As a retired United States Marine, I have lived my life guided by service, discipline, and responsibility. Those values did not stop when I hung up my uniform. They continue through the work we do at The WordToTheFamily Organization. This organization was founded on the belief that serving our community, especially our elderly men and women, is not optional, it is a duty. During my years in the Marine Corps and the Army National Guard, I learned the importance of watching out for one another and never leaving someone behind. That same mindset drives our mission today. Many older individuals have spent their lives giving to others through hard work, sacrifice, and service, yet too often they are overlooked, misunderstood, or left without the support they deserve. We believe it is our responsibility to stand up for them and ensure they are treated with dignity and respect.
The WordToTheFamily Organization exists to provide support, guidance, and hands-on assistance to elderly individuals, veterans, and families in need. From checking in and offering companionship, to addressing safety concerns in their homes, to providing food, clothing, and minor carpentry services, we are committed to helping improve their quality of life. Sometimes the most powerful support we can offer is simply showing up and listening. Luke 6:31 reminds us, ‘Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.’ This verse reflects the foundation of our organization. Too many elderly people face loneliness, isolation, and unfair treatment, and it is our mission to change that by offering understanding, patience, and real help. We strive to create a safe, welcoming environment where everyone feels valued and respected. At WordToTheFamily, we recognize the wisdom and experience older individuals bring to our communities. They are not a burden, they are a blessing. Our goal is to serve with integrity, compassion, and consistency, just as I once served my country. We remain dedicated to protecting, supporting, and uplifting those who need it most. If you or a loved one require assistance, know that we are here to serve and stand with you.
